Per the IAH Chief Pilot's mouth approximately 24 hours ago. "Man, lots of interviews today." "Hey, are we lowering the minimums, I've heard rumors?" "Well, we've thought about it, but since we continue to have qualified applicants, what's the point?" "So at this time, no, it's still 1500/500." I'll be the first to admit I've heard some have squeaked in "just" under the radar, but they are like good friend with interviewers, etc. So I stand by my original 1500/500 statement, but as soon as I hear a definative YES, they are lowered, I'll be the first to say so, more numbers below me is always good!

1. Passenger complains to you about your hard landing, what do you do?

2. You are due to depart in 2 hours and there are currently thunderstorms over your destination, what are you going to do?

3. How would you provide excellent customer service to ExpressJet customers?

BTW... the phone screening is conducted by a third party "telemarketing" type organization. They are not pilots and really can't clarify or provide any additional information other than what's in the question.

ALSO:

"How many times would your employer say you were late in last 12 months."

Has anyone had a telephone interview in the last few days? I'm wondering if these are the same questions they're asking.

Any updates would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm about to fill out the online application and want to be prepare for the phone call.

Thanks

Tom

How long from initial phone call till you hear back from recruiter? I was told 60-90 days. Does it really take that long?
