Hello all,

I just filled out the online app for ExpressJet and am hopeful of getting a phone call soon. For anyone who has recieved a call or can offer me further insight:

What is it like?
What should I study for or be prepared to discuss?
How long is it?
Do they ask for a resume to be faxed in?

If you did recieve a call and were lucky to go to Houston for the 'real' interview afterwards, please give me some insight as to the overall experience, questions, etc. I'm already familiar with www.aviationinterviews.com, but the more I'm armed with, the better off I'll be.

I'm REALLY keeping my fingers crossed for ExpressJet. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!

Cheers,

Baron

Aviationinterviews is pretty much nuts on, and should give you enough information. They will call you before the phone interview to fax in a resume. If you have any other questions feel free to pm me and I can give you some pointers.

phone interview

I wouldn't worry about it at all. Just basic stuff, also you will know in advance about when they will call. They ask you to fax resume first then expect a call within a day or two. Just know basic instrument stuff

Easiest books to read are the ASA Instrument Oral Exam Guide and the ATP Oral Exam guide. Lots of good stuff that you should know in there. As others have said read Aviationinterviews.com for what is expected.

If you have a pulse and are not a real douchebag, then you will have no problem with the XJT interview. If you can't pass the phone interview, you shouldn't be flying.

Thanks a lot for the replies and insight...I'm not sweating the phone interview too badly, but just want to have a grasp of what to expect! If anything else comes to mind, reply or PM me. Thanks again!
