For those of you that track upgrade times at various airlines, ExpressJet just had a bid close where the most junior pilot to hold captain was hired 3 years and 11 months ago. The junior base was Newark, the senior base was Cleveland, and Houston fell in the middle.

Starting pay is still $17,600 a year.
