Its already past the date, and we notified CAL earlier this year that we were keeping all 69 (44 XRs and 25 LRs)- assuming the leases that is.

Now, what we're doing with them has been rumored to death on this crackpipe and others but nothing at all has been announced officially.

The only thing for sure is that we lost the Midwest RFP.

All we know is Chautuaqua and CAL wont be flying the 69, for now anyway...

Yeah, happy 30th CHQ? Have they really been around that long? News to me...

The rumor is expressjet can't find a home for all those planes, and some of them may go to chautauqua after all.

I'm hearing that keeping the jets is just a bluff, that will cost Expressjet and its employees dearly.

The reason for my curiosity is that it seems there is a delay in the CHQ CRJ training...

It was my speculation that "perhaps" this was due to an upcomming date that ExpressJet may have to release the number of jets it will be returning, which may end our need for CRJ's...

I didn't realize that they had found a home for all 69 airframes... and I doubt that they would continue to pay high lease prices for aircraft that would be parked.

Just my opinion... not starting any rumors...

Or could it be you guys are having problems getting the CRJ program up and running?

CHQ is securing aircraft, erjs, thats the reason for the delay. If it goes through, then no more CRJ, if it doesnt, theyll be ready for the CRJ. THey are running out of time which is why they must have the CRJ ready to go as soon as they have a defintive answer.

quit eating asbestos tiles. 24 CRJs from the desert are coming to us.

I am so sick of hearing about Chit Taco. Because I REFUSE to fly for what they get paid, I am ready to shut Comair down. I hope you enjoy your continued success off the backs of other pilots. COOL SHINY JET THOUGH, DUDE!

Not bad. It took almost one full page before someone had to bash CHQ. Freedom, and Skywest/ASA wouldn't have anything to do with your problems at Comair either huh?

Oh yeah, I did forget them. Let's add Freedom and Skywest in there, too. But don't throw ASA in there. They're ready to walk off the job as well because they won't work for your wages. Enjoy the EMB-170. It's a sharp plane!

Not so fast. Looking at your last TWO concessionary agreements, your pilot group (especially on the last one) agreed to fly for less than piddly ol' Chatakeaway wages. The only reason that your 2nd pay cut hasn't gone into effect is the fact that it was your flight attendants (of all people) who said they were refusing pay cuts. You should be kissing their collective a$$es every leg you fly with them.

You guys are the Buster Douglas of commercial aviation. You put up one good fight, then you let your a$$es get handed to you after that, and of course, blame someone else. The truth hurts, get over yourself. You have enough things to worry about.

Voted NO twice!! And we got our a$$es handed to us because the "market pay rates" are lower. And why would they be lower? Hmm...

That's your comeback?! "Market Pay Rates"!!!! Your "market pay rate" was bottom of the barrel up until '01 and you guys did a hell of a job bettering your lives. If you had the same fortitude now as you did then, you would be free to continue to thump your chest.

Looking at your last two opportunities to collectively tell your company where to put it, you have been (at best) a flabby overweight Buster Douglas (see above post). By the way, stop beating your chest so much guys! When you were lean, mean, hungry fighting machines, it was admirable, now it's disgusting.

I concur!!! When I was furloughed from Independence I turned down an offer from ShiiteTaco because there is now way that I will fly a 70 seat jet for less than I was making to fly a 32 seat jet 3 years prior. You can stick that SJS where the sun don't shine!

Kinda hard to take a stand when the likes of CHQ,Mesa GoJets, have proven they will accept anything to fly a jet. I'm sure you would like it if CMR had "the same fortitude now as they did then" that way more flying could be siphoned off and given to you.

isn't mesa's contract up soon?? hope you guys dont take it up the a>> ...or maybe you don't care...cause JO loves it so much.

It's far more than just pay rates. Don't forget work rules and CHQ management's innability or unwillingness to follow the mediocre contract they have in place.

Word going around CAL is that they are realizing that the CHQ deal isn't such a good dea. They plan to increase more CAL flying and therefore won't have a need to replace all 69 RJ's.

all you comair guys need to stfu. your fa's are the ones with the stones, not you.

You sir are an idiot.. You guys keep ripping on CMR for taking cuts, when it's scum like you that started it.. Talk about not having stones..

P.S. Don't bother with the 73 type. Trust me you are not Luv material.

So someone started the race to the bottom..Who? Well, Who the hell knows.
It's funny how people get on this board and talk all the sh!t about not taking a sh!ttty pay cut. Just bash and don't bother to defend..... Unreal!
