ExpressJet, Delta put aviation students on career pathway

The last time this program was done, it was not for the majority of pilots, if you know what I mean. This was definately the fast track to Delta but you had to meet certain qualifications that could not be gained through life experiences, rather one must be born with these "qualifications". The program worked great for those in it and I personally knew two students from the program that are both at Delta without ever making it to the left seat at a regional.

Don't hate the player, hate the game and the game-maker is Delta.
 
Delta isn't going to need pilots directly from universities for a VERY long time, but it may get to that point. Don't kid yourself- this program isn't to benefit DAL, it's to benefit the regionals, whom will very much need pilots from a shrinking pool of applicants. It's Expressjet that benefits from this, not DAL or the pilot.

nah it satisfies the court as far as minority hiring, that's the real reason, someday everyone will have an equal chance, nahhhhhhhh!!!!
