I may be coming back from an extended LOA. Can someone tell me roughly what seniority the reserves are running out of ATL on the 200. I was on the 700 and can't see the list, or figure out where to find it.

Thanks!

Yup!

Min rest...max duty...min days off

No trips to cover? Stand by at the airport for an hour or ready reserve

I love how these brand new captains who CHOSE to upgrade, knowing full well what they were getting in to, are already bitching about reserve.

Ummm...not quiet like that. I promise you, when I upgraded, people were holding lines after just a few months on reserve. Now, here I sit some 5 years later!

But it is equally frustrating to hear line holders who spent just a couple of months on reserve (during a time of being properly/over staffed) with their "suck it up" mentality.

Son, you know nothing about this way of life!

Obviously, my statement wasn't directed towards you.

You will not say a GodD#$% word to any of these FO's that have just upgraded after pulling gear for 7+ years. They are allowed to bitch all they want.

All u need to know about reserve at L-ASA:

Always used and abused, treated like scum, and NEVER a life away from "The Prison".

This was the whole point of the ASA Reserve Quality of Life Committee drive.

All regional FOs are or will be on reserve again and the loss of 50 seat aircraft will not be pretty—Fortunately age 65 is here.

This is the committee that yielded exactly nothing in the form of results. I don't blame ALPA, by the way. I directly blame CT, however. After many concerns were laid out regarding reserve use, and ways to lessen the burden on them, CT interrupted the RQOL committee chair and stated that "we aren't negotiating". With that in mind, I do my job, and exactly no more. CT- you get what you get in your steaming pile of an operation.

I gave up LOOOOONG ago with anything that has to do with productivity at ASA. you do anything even 1 comma outside OM or heaven forbid get a flat tire or traffic, we get occurrence and chief pilot chat. Yet I can sit on a plane that goes out 90 minutes late because it just came back from a charter and needs a security sweep and the security sweep peeps are MIA. Or i sit at an outstation on an originating flight and watch them start boarding 10 minutes after scheduled departure time and there are no consequences for either party mentioned above. you are right CT.. we are not negotiating because i simply don't care.

Mainline is the ONLY place to be. No matter how hard you work at this place to put on a good show, there are legions of mouth breathers who will do their best to make it look like amateur hour.

If you are asking about CA CR7 ATL...there are reserves with seniority in the 500's (I doubt by choice). It has gone extremely senior due to the opening of IAD and DTW.

Same here, just do my job and don't go the extra mile any longer. What I find amusing is the performance push but all the incentives go to mainline, like the $5-6000 bonuses recently paid to DAL rampers. Thats why the gate & ramp in ATL are always pushing for on-time. And what do we get, chump change! Shove it CT!
