Alright guys, listen up. Yeah, my origianal post was inflammatory, I was frustrated. For those of you who make assumptions, I think Expj owes me NOTHING---READ THAT...NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get off the friggin' attitude high horse. I appreciate the fact that they offered preferential interviewing, something which many Expj guys and others on the outside weren't pleased about. BUT, it was the process of applying that has become monstrously frustrating. Dawn said she received my resume, by the way, and it was one that I had to manually fax in after I gave up with the PeopleScout system. She called today actually saying that she will be scheduling me for an interview...in March. If someone applies in October and still hasn't heard anything because she never received anything from PeopleScout, only the hard copy I sent in, and others are getting called who applied two weeks ago, then there is indeed a problem with that system. You can only pull your hair out some many times before there is none left. So, for those of you who think I am bitter because Coex didn't hire me, THEY JUST CALLED ME FOR AN INTERVIEW IN MARCH, so think before you assume that your all-seeing wisdom is correct. My frustration is over the system they have set up. And for those of you who think I'm being a prima dona, well, I won't waste the effort in responding. If you don't get it, you don't get it. Find another thread to post on. My "attitude" is one of thankfullness that they offered to do this in the first place. That offer shows great respect and professionalism.
Yeah, ASA treated me well and nearly knocked my door down. That gave a nice impression. The pilots I have met outside of the GO have made it very clear that we are welcome and they have a "home" for us there. I wish that home could have been Expressjet, and still could be, although I'm taking ASA now due to family near ATL, etc...Was my mind made up before this rant was written, not really actually. To everyone at Expressjet, you are a great group of pilots, a few of whom are good friends. My bitching was over the process, nothing else. Oh, and by the way, the original call that Dawn made to me was in response to mine, and she said she had no record of my original application, although the PeopleScout person said it was in the system, nor did she have the Furloughed Pilot Application. This began the frustration. To everyone who got/gets hired, congrats!!!! I know you will be happy with your choice. To Paul Smith on the previous page: SCREW YOU!!!!!
