Express Jet hiring

No clue on the minimums. At one time I belive they were,

Commercial / Multi / Inst / 800 total time.

1500 and 500 and can not have been furloughed from another carrier.

We are going to see an increase of 10,000 block hours in March. I think the company is caught with their pants down. Junior Manning is on the way.

Why are they not hiring any furloughed guys? How reputable is your source?

I hope those mins are not correct. I think they're to high. We all know that well trained pilots with much less time can do the job.

As for the furlough question, the problem is simple. Furloughed pilots leave. I'm sure the company doesnt want to train people who are going to leave. There are so many other applicants out there who have no prior commitments. I know it stinks for forloughed guys and I wish the company would interview these folks and give them the opportunity to resign if they so choose. Anyway, good luck to all.
