Strong Union, strong pilot group = good QOL and pay.
Charter is very senior though. When I left I was in my 8th year and I was no where near holding it. Charter for Capt's is easily over 100K.

Strong union and reasonable management. But I wouldn't call it generosity. I would call it fair compensation.
