The grin ( :D ) was integral. Means j/k. Sorry, won't happen again.

Su-wheat! When can I bid ERJFO out of LAX???????

Bye Bye--General Lee

You will get displaced to it if you don't bid it.

You should hear the complaining over here from everybody about the LAX schedules. People complained forever about not having a west coast base and now they also want good lines.

Yeah, I forgot it's too much to ask to want less than a 4 hour commute and spend more than 6 nights at home.

you have choices. bid what you want. i like days off. i bid for a 3 hr flight commute vs a 45 minute flight commute just to maintain days off. i could also move closer to base and make life a lot easier.

we all have choices. XJT has doubled their base choices in just a few months time. be grateful that you can move throughout the country and have options.

or not. it's up to you. that's what bids are for. you can change your mind at anytime and await the base advancement.

good news is that the majors are hiring and you leap in seniority each month if you stay at XJT. this should help ease the sting of the 'intolerable' west coast schedules.

1) We didn't know how the schedules would be before the bid closed...

2) It's going to be not so easy to get back to IAH/CLE/EWR

3) I never said I wasn't greatful for anything.

5) That TDY language in our contract stings a little in guys move in senior to you (everyone except the number 1 or 2 guy went backwords)... It's not like at Eagle or others where the TDYs go in on the bottom.

4) Did you bid LAX? If you did you for sure didn't choose days off over anything.

It is the companies fault that Delta gave us such hard lines to schedule? You took the risk, probably to upgrade early. Gambled and lost.

Sounds like 8 more planes for LAX so maybe this will help the lines. I doubt it because it will probably mean more TDY.

I heard Pan Am filed bankruptcy. Who'd have thought? I guess I miss information when I don't take my computer on a trip.

What are the junior bases for fo's at xjt these days? Is it the new bases or is it still EWR?

First of all? What did I loose... I'm fine with my line for next month. I'm just saying it's okay to wish the lines were better. I'm getting a little bit tired of hearing that just because I bid it I shouldn't wish the lines were better by people that aren't even in base. Give it a rest LAX commuters are gonna gripe a little bit, just handel it without comming on here and telling everyone what risk they took or how greatful they should be. I am (and I'm sure all the other west coast guys are) greatful we for once have a base located in the only decent time zone in lower 48. Seccond of all - I didn't take the risk to upgrade, I took the risk so I didn't have to fly 4 and a half hours just to get to work. Lastly, TDY has nothing to do with the quality of the lines. 21 more round trips a day should help the schedules if any of them are in the middle of the day. I'm not trying to argue with anyone and I know your just trying to provide some prospective and I appreciate that but I'm sure you get where I'm comming from too.
