I have made a great contact with a CEO of a company that has a Citation Excel on order. We hit it off real well and he gave me his card and asked me to send him my resume ASAP. I have 1100 hours total time with 400 multi, 350 of that is SIC in the 1900D. Im currently an FO at a regional.

Is my time and experience sufficient for a corporate flight department such as this. They have two pilots that have been at the company for a long time and are looking for a third. Would insurance be tough with someone like myself, or does the fact that I would be flying with others make that less of an issue. I really dont know much about the corporate area, maybe someone can fill me in on the particulars and give me an idea as to my chance for success.

Would the fact that I was an officer in the Marines and a corporate manager for a couple of years before I started flying be a feather in my cap?

Thanx in advance to anyone who can help!

Hate it when I hit the wrong button

Go For It!
In times like these, the flesh that you press may very well get you the job.

Your Military expirence though not aviation will be looked at as an asset, along with your FAR121 time. Not to mention the fact that you are hand flying everywhere you go.

The only bummer may be the sour old sod that only lets you yank gear and jabber on the radios. Who knows, you might just get lucky. And the pay will be a whole lot better than the 17K that you are getting right now.

Again... Go For IT!!
