I closed out my 401k over a year ago with Independence Air. I had a balance of $0 and this month I recieved a statement showing an employer contribution of a substantial amount.
The representative said it had to do with the company going out of business and dividing up some extra money to all the employees participating.
I know a lot of guys have moved since a year ago and it might take a while before a statement finds you.
