After she left Delta (she was NICE enough to ask for her retention bonus in two parts, helping Delta of course) she went to a bankrupt energy corporation in Atlanta called Mirant. After being there for 6 months, she petitioned the court to ask for bonuses for management while in bankruptcy. She just left Mirant for good, with $4.1 million.

I would hope that if information was obtained indicating that MB was going to be on a Delta flight....the Captain and mechanic would have a little meeting and discuss the "airworthiness" of the plane...or make that plane(s)!!!
