Anyone remember Gulfstream's primer green GV at the NBAA in October of 1999 that was equipped with EVS? EVS was the forward looking imaging system that could see through clouds/fog providing the pilots with a clear sky view of the runway. Was this system ever put into practical use as a deliverable option on Gulfstreams, or any other airplane for that matter? Just wondering, t'was a topic of discussion today and I couldn't remember if it was just a pilot program or something that actually was approved and went into production.
