Cliff notes

Actually, I thought that was a pretty good article. It was entirely factual.

It was much better than the writing you read *after* a major accident.

It makes a few points:

--There hasn't been a crash in four years, but don't let your guard down.

--Failing finances
--Increased outsourcing
--Lagging oversight

All of the above, which we're experiencing today, contributed to the ValueJet accident.

That's a very reasonable conclusion.
 
Shhhh... Don't talk about no fatal accidents in nearly 4 years. That's like someone saying "I hope he doesn't roll a 7" on the craps table when I have $500 on the table... because right after you say that.... CRAPS...
 
sadly, on thanksgiving day, the announcers were talking about Jake Plummer's 228 pass attempts without an interception. three more and he moves up to third all time. 2 plays later , he throws an interception. go figure...

this happens evrytime they open their mouth.
