Do you guys going to Afghanistan actually overnight there, or is it just drop off the freight and get out?

Upgrade is in the 6-7 year range at GAC.
Where the heck did that come from?
Is that something they are telling the new hires? Or is that just your guess?
Hi Fog! Enjoy your time at home!

Hi Fog! Enjoy your time at home!

It hasn't been announced yet but the most jr MD11 Capt was hired in 2001.........

You are correct, Mr. Fogrunner. In the last 6-7 years, there have been about 30 upgrades. A new hire tomorrow will have about 90 ahead of him for upgrade. New aicraft on the property is the only way I see the upgrade situation improving. When is that first 777F getting here anyway?

This is a funny business. If the age 60 rule stays in place for the next 12 months, we will lose 11 people.

That means we will have Capts here, who were hired in 2005.

I agree if you are hired today it may take quite a while before you see the left seat.

For Evergreen, I understand the LCF will be based in CHS. What will the trip rotations be like on that?

When I was hired at GAC I was told that we(GAC) were a cut above the rest of the ACMI crowd.WRONG!!! Look at World, Southern, Omni, Atlas, they all pay better. If your go'na take the probing you might as make some $$$. It's not gonna happen here for awhile.
