Sweet!

I think I'll get a chromed Desert Eagle with the rubberized grip. I'll leave it sitting right on the glareshield so everyone gets the message.

For Sale: For a limited time only I'm offering shotgun racks custom fitted to your 210, Baron, etc.
-while supplies last-

Will the TSA pay for ammo?

While I find your jokes funny, I wanted to carry a gun when I flew checks. I was sitting alone on dark ramps all night waiting for couriers to show up. Nontowered airports are scary in the middle of the night - no lighting, no security, often in the middle of nowhere. I realize my 135 run was not a FEDEX Airbus, and my security issues were a little different, but I wanted to throw in my .02.

Who hasn't wanted to pack heat on a checkride?! Those sim instructors can be the most vile obnoxious people on the face of the earth, and need to be taken care of... Not to mention the evaluators!!

Wait a minute, did you say check-ride, or check-run?..oops, sorry, disregard..

Yey, those dark dark ramps in the middle of nowhere can be...lonely to say the least. Especially when you on the border. Does anybody have a link for more info?

You arent kidding, I am amazed that no one has tried to rob a lonely pilot on a empty airport at two in the morning (it may have happened I just havent heard). I mean those bags have the name of the bank on them. Some ignorant opportunistic thug driving by might think they are full of cash. I know of couriers carrying the exact thing and getting robbed. The banks solution was to chain the bags down and give the driver the key. What a completly idiotic solution, and a perfect way to get a guy killed. I mean if he wanted the bags he can have them.
I cant tell you how many times something has spooked me and I hauled a$$ into the plane, started one engine and tore out and started the other engine while taxiing in ground effect.
