That sure would be a bad reason to get sent home! BTW how long do you think it will take to upgrade Flychicaga?
They are saying 3-4 years. I'm thinking more like 5-6. Who knows, it's all too fluid to guess.

Without any future aircraft orders you'll be looking at never upgrading.
You can only fly around the US in so many jungle jets you moron. We'll see who gets shiny new jets very, very soon. While the rest of you fight over bottom feeding UAL, we're creating new markets every month in Mexico.

I spoke with them the other day and supposedly they are going to start up calls again 2 weeks into Jan. like what others said its a waiting game. Just ride the bus they will call. Good luck to all others that are waiting as well.

How many cities in Mexico do you guys serve? Do you have any inter-Mexico flying? For instance you fly from IAH to Mexico then continue on to another destination within the country? Or, all they all out and backs?
Any good layovers down there?

IAH to AGU, MLM, GDL, MEX, PVR, BJX, MTY, PBU, Acapulco, Cabo, Mazetlan, Ixtapa and about 10 others - something like 22 total - not sure.

LAX to MLM, AGU, BJX for now.

So some pairings look like:

Day 1: IAH-MLM-LAX
Day 2: LAX to Montrose, CO and back to LAX
Day 3: LAX - MLM
Day 4: MLM-IAH-PVR-IAH

Here are some more.
IAH-TRC
IAH-SLP
IAH-CME
IAH-TLC
IAH-SLT
IAH-TAM
IAH-VER
IAH-CUU
IAH-VSA
LRD-MEX
SAT-MEX
MFE-MEX

There are more, 29 in all. We do have 30 hour lay overs in some of our Mexican destinations

Sounds like a nice deal! ARe the IAH crews the only ones flying to Mexico? Any interesting warm destinations for the CLE/EWR guys? Key west is as far Southeast you guys go to, correct?
I remember seeing a picture of an ERJ in SXM, do you know if that was a fuel stop on a delivery flight or is SXM a destination XJT serves? (sure would be nice)!

All crews fly to Mexico. The aircraft in SXM was in fact a delivery flight from Brazil.
