NO F##KING TSA!!

And I agree, Scottish sucks. It sounds like they're using surplus WWII radios. I picture them down in a bunker directing Spitfires to shoot down the Huns during the Battle of Britain....

Not surprising. The Brits have been oppressing my strong, proud people for hundreds of years. D@MN THEM! ;) Crappy radios are just a symptom of a problem...

(Just couldn't go on without insulting SOME group. :D ) TC

Why don't you attend an international course?

Yep. Your company really ought to send you to FSI's International Ops training. I just went a couple of weeks ago in ATL and, even after having gone through ATA's Nav school, found it very informative.

The quality of the training could vary wisely based on who is teaching, but Merrill Randolph was a total stud as an instructor. He flies for Coke and has operated all over the world, including in Russia where I'm going to be doing a lot of flying. FSI, as usual, supplied me with about 20 pounds of written manulals which have all sorts of useful data in them. I have no idea what it cost. The company payed.
