My 13 year old son belongs to Cathay Pacific virtual airlines. He has a good time and is learning tons about airline operations. You can talk to controllers and fly planned routes. I can think of ALOT worse things for him to get into.

These guys are motivited and us as professional pilots keep busting on them, WHY? Because you think so highly of your job you don't want these guys knocking on the door? You were so much better then them when you were a freshmen, sophmore in college? You are just SOOOO COOOOOl being a professional aviator you have to knock down anyone that maybe be TOO motivated for you?

Yea, I'm sticking up hard for these guys, not because of ERAU, but because I love aviation as much as they do.

Its not their fault for going to Riddle. If I had lived in FL I may have ended up there. I just didn't wnat to move that far. I got lucky picking a normal university that had a med sized flight department (which has gone downhill quick in the past couple years).

If I lived in a differnent place it may have been Riddle, or worse!

Planned for my first cross country today, to Melbourne. Tomorrow, at about 4pm, we should be heading out. It will be my first time flying since I soloed. I gotta review my flows. Anyways, after a few more cross countries, and night flying, I have to do a solo cross country, which should be fun.
