I knew Mike Popp from Milwaukee General Aviation a charter, flight instructing outfit that has been out of business since 1999. I got my job there because Mike was leaving to go to Gran-Aire at Timmerman. I didn't go to Prescott I went to UND from 1992-1998.
....peace....
I think that the skyway people that don't have to work on the day of his scentencing should show up in uniform. Maybe we could show his "homie's" what real unity is!
About 100 Skyway pilots showed up at Mikes funeral and I'm sure they will show up again. The families are urging friends to send letters to the judge. Right now that a##hole is looking at 35-40 years in prison. The families of Mike and Troy said that Wisconsin judges don't screw around. That guy deserves more than that. He had a lot of priors and no future. My friends had their whole lives in front of them. They never even got to see the industry turn around. (hopefullly)
I think that they should move the trial to a state that has the death penalty. Unfortunately, justice can never be done by a judge in Wisconsin. Consider Jeffrey Dahmer. It took another inmate at the penitentary to deliver what he deserved.
