Will someone please tell me what the difference is between EOS and Skybus? NOTHING!!! Just yet another POS startup carrier paying substandard wages to pilots willing and stupid enough to jump at the opportunity to work below industry average pay....but hey, you get to fly a shiny jet with new paint and NOW, International destinations....WOO HOO!

IMO, I think that ANY pilot willing to work at one of these carriers should be blacklisted FOREVER from EVER gaining work at an ALPA carrier.

An "ALPA" carrier? What does that mean anymore? Last I checked many ALPA carriers don't pay so swell either.

IMO- I work for EOS and they are better than ANY carrier I have worked for and 99% of the guys who work there feel the same way.

Folks we have all types at Eos but we are making it work out, acquiring a/c and routes.

As far as our service NO ONE and I mean NO ONE comes close to our service PERIOD!

And most of us were all ALPA members in goodstanding for many years. ALPA is worthless because of its lack of foresight and leadership from morons like you. No one wants ALPA anywhere near our property.

I can see by your 13 posts and lack of left seat time (sorry cessna's don't count) that you are very experienced. You are the the guy who is flying sideways talking about "in his experience", lol.

Basically STFU! Dumbass.

The average alpa carrier 757 captain tops out at $175/hr, NOT counting beni's. EOS tops out at $122...

People must like it at Eos. They have two pilots who resigned from United in order to stay at Eos. They also have a few guy's who have deferred recall to American. Bigger is not always better

Jesus dude, Give EOS time. I'm sure a few years down the road they'll be at or above par.

I'm sick of the Low Cost mentality. It's about time someone comes along and tries something new and different. Maybe the others will learn something from this. I firmly believe that if you offer a quality product, treat your passengers like valued customers, and not try to take advantage of everyone and everything then the people will flock without having to be the cheepest whore on the block.

GO EOS!!!!!

I know of THREE UAL guys who quit EOS and came back to UAL. I doubt your info is correct, but whatever makes you feel better.

You are both correct actually. The most recent to leave for another place did so because of numerous personal and professional reasons.

And guys come on, EOS is not Low cost carrier!!!

EOS is not LOW cost carrier!

EOS is first-class only carrier to mainly designed for business people or the ones who has enough money to travel and pay thousands of dollars to while enjoying first-class service...

It is not like Gojet, or Skybus, or other LCC...

Would be nice that people gets their facts together, before writing some stupid comment here!

Then again we are pilots, who tend to write idiotic comments!

Dude you are a tool bag. Go crawl back under the rock you came out from.

Part of that is true. I am talking about line qualified guys. I don't know if someone was hired and quit during training. Three guys did leave Eos to go back to UA. Two came back to Eos and resigned from UA and one stayed at UA. The one that stayed went back last Jan. He lived at a UA domicile so that helped his decision. People are always going to leave or stay for different reasons. The last two pilots that left for another job went to UPS.

I flew a trip with a former EOS guy, he was a Capt and worked there almost since startup, commutes to his UAL job now and what he had to say was not all bad, but it is not a "career" carrier by any means.....

andyd - If Eos is such a low cost carrier then you should have no problem buying a ticket on them, right? First off Eos is a start up carrier like all carriers were at one time. Second, compare eos pay to a lot of the other start ups as well as the cargo carriers (excluding the obvious, UPS, FedEx, ABX) and Eos is in line or higher than them all, also look at the first year pay, it would take about 2 years to make the first year pay at Eos if you were UAL, NWA, US Air, etc.... not only that Eos pays for your hotel, uniforms, transportation, per diem as well where the legacy carriers don't. So eos isn't perfect and they have room to improve like all carriers but we are far from the typical LCC. So next time you spout off at that pie hole of yours why don't you bring some realistic solutions on how we can fix the WHOLE INDUSTRY! And you want to talk peaple flying at Eos because they are flying a shiny jet to international destinations, think again Eos is a group of pilots who's lowest time guy probably has more experience in his left nut than you. Your sitting right seat in what with what total time, unless your a 20 year US Air F/O I doubt you stack up to the experience Eos has on property. So addressing the shiny jet coment, no pilots aren't there to fly a shiny jet to international destinations, been there done that several times.

I stand corrected and apologize to anyone whom I have offended. Best of luck in your careers and Happy Holidays.
