I think he needs to understand that aviation is an english only business. Customer Service is assisted by other languages, but to be able to get anywhere, you've got to speak good English. Thank Goodness, that hasn't changed.

Okay, beyond that being sent in Spanish, here's what really gets me going. The Federal Government is offering scholarships based on Gender, Race, Ethnenticity.... Isn't it great to know that our tax money is going to encourage diversity in the industry. Gee. I would think it would be best spent to help those who are already interested, regardless of such "arbitrary factors" as we call them in Cali.

But hay. What do I know. that's why we have a republic. Some people think that the people are just too dumb sometimes.

In Mexico everything in avitaion is in spanish. The worst thing about is that to fly there not only do you have to be a Mexican citizen but born in Mexico. No other country in Latin America has that stupid law but Ecuador. I think the law should be reciprical, mexican born pilots should not be allowed to fly in the USA until Mexico changes its law .

I could be late but I think some of us need to take a nice read-over of AC 60-28-3(a)(b)(c)(d).

It's funny how unreceptive Mexico is to foreigners, excluding our money. However, Mexico doesn't feel that the United States deserve the same privileges of protectionism.

If able, my wife and I would love to move to Mexico, become Mexicans, obtain employment, own land, build a house and take part in our local community and government. However, Mexico has it's list a reasons why that would be a bad idea for it to accept this. But for some reason, Mexico doesn't feel that list is appropriate for the US.

And now our tax dollars are going to support "Hispanics" in aviation. Hispanic? Thanks for dividing this country. When was the last time I called myself anything but American.
