engine plugs

Where can I find engine inlet plugs for a Beechjet like the ones that Flight Opinions has. Tried of using the covers and DOM does not want to use the JetBrella

Just slip an Options pilot $20.00. That way you bought 'em all legal like. Everybody is happy. Except maybe that investment group that bought Options. They'll probably be gettin' some TARP funds soon anyhow. So in the end you will end up paying full retail. Of course I'm paying full retail for your plugs too. That's how Socialism works.

Seriously, my wife could make you a set of those for probably $500 less than what you'll end up paying for them.

They do not show the plugs but are on their price list. Not sure if its what you are looking but call Bruce's.... I'm sure they give you something better than the smart ass advice you have received so far on here.

Yeah but our advice was free.:laugh: Bruce charges an arm and a leg (seriously $585 for two round pillows).

I know we weren't being helpful, but I assumed if he already had the engine covers(as his first post seemed to indicate) that he knew the number for Bruce's (since they are on the little white tag). But you could seriously take the measurements to a local awning shop and have them make you a set of these for probably one fifth the cost. It's a round hole. How hard can it be? For $585 I'll have the missus make em out of red velvet and sew your name on em'.

It ain't like you gotta have an STC for engine plugs.

Now see!! Thats some good advice for someone looking for an alternative to the slip on covers he is tired of messing with. $500 seems like a lot but compared to the price of a Beechjet or 2 BJ engines I wouldnt think too much about it... if it were mine.
