Where are the Airtran guys and their reports?

Gup

It's funny, a few years ago you guys where the bottom of the barrel as
far as pay and benefits.

Now, You seem to revel in every one else's problems.

Maybe that's why you never where hired by a "First Rate" airline.

A little humility, and an appreciation of the time others have put
into their careers would be in order.

No "Seat-Grab" Windfall.

I think that may be a bit of an exaggeration. "A few years ago" SWA pilots were not the industry leaders, but we also were not the "bottom of the barrel." There were plenty of other airlines that were far behind us....like AirTran. Now, we are the industry leaders, and have recently moved those rates even higher, all while keeping the tightest scope language in the industry. If that sounds like bragging, then I apologize....but that's the facts. It's what we've done for the profession lately. How about a little less dwelling in the past and a little more credit for recent events?

Now, You seem to revel in every one else's problems.
No, Gup was just making a valid observation and asking a valid question. Do you have an answer?

Maybe that's why you never where hired by a "First Rate" airline.
What is your definition of a "First Rate" airline? Do you presently work for a "First Rate" airline? If so, which one?

A little humility, and an appreciation of the time others have put
into their careers would be in order.

No "Seat-Grab" Windfall.
Again, Gup was just making a valid observation and asking a valid question. Do you have an answer?

Just check my last in pay stub in December. $274,376 on 638 block. 15k in retro at 16 years at SWA. Last year at MESA made $29,123 on 976 block in 94' on the 1900! Not good or divine just damn lucky.......so far....................

You know how the east and west blowhards would turn every thread into a big east v west pissing contest that got so annoying the mods had to step in-

How about we not get to that point?

No RSAs = Reserve Assignmet Pickups at Premium (150%) 4.2 hours or whatever you flew...whichever was greater.
No FLICA alerts = Flight Line Crew Access or similar to your elit system (sp?). Alerts text or email you when a trip with stated parameters falls into open time.
No PTO sold = Person Time Off bank. We can sell a certain amount per month or per year depending on how much you have banked. Some guys will bank 200 hours (9-12 hours accrued a month) and at the end of the year after saving for a few years will sell back a huge chunk for thousands.
