Many of you may have been surprised by the fact that almost half of the voting public on this forum consider themselves Libertarian. Everybody, think for yourselves. Don't do something just because "everyone else is doing it". If you try to get what you want, you might get it. Almost HALF...

You neeeed to put this in perspective. Is this a reflection of the general voting public?

No, it isn't.

While "voting your conscience" always sounds good, you have to consider the hard evidence of what actually happens when votes are drawn off to a third party. Do you want 60 percent income taxes, universal healthcare (a la Canada, where you can wait for WEEKS), and a european society? If yes, you can go there and experience it right now.

If you don't, then you have to stop and think about what impact your vote, such as it is, has on the outcome of our election process, and the future of America.
