Anyone know anything about these guys where they have bases, hiring mins and stuff. I know they fly to anchorage, just wondering about the lower 48
 
Why don't you go to www.empireairlines.com and find out. Good luck trying to get on with 500 hours. I really don't know where they find people with 2000 total time and 1000 PIC to fly single pilot in a caravan. Those mins seem ridiculous. I have 1300 turbine and 1000 in a 727 but because I don't have 1000 PIC they say I don't qualify.

i am looking to go right seat in an atr, and i have 1000hours now with 600turbine. So thats why i am interested...already saw the wesite...want to talk to someone who knows...
 
We are hiring right now into the ATR and maybe even into the Van. Our bases are ANC, CWA, CPR, GEG, RAP, SEA, SBA, MSO, AFW and MID for the ATR and F-27 and we are opening up an IDA base for the ATR next month. Good quality of life for the most part-not a lot of flying time at most of the bases though.

Fedx owns all the caravan, regardless of who's the operator they will want 2000 and 1000pic the least. Freight dogs from martinaire, airnow or any veteran 135 guys are pouring over like waves, even I can't even get a shot at it and I'm already in the house.
