Turnover is non-existant. FA50s, FA900s, chopper, and 2 ultras, and 800xp in Ohio. All the 50s are EX retrofits. Plenty of international flying. You need a lot of something to get in the door there, I just don't know what it is.

I have been through training with a couple of their pilots. Seem to be good guys. I believe they have a 7X on order.

I toured their facility with their chief pilot once. Its the cleanest hangar I've ever been in. Real top notch. they had people in their cleaning the rims on the tires!!

Yeah, but living in St. Louis would suck... Freezing in the winter, Africa-hot in the summer with no pretty mountains or water - just an Arch which gets boring after 5 minutes. I don't care how great their baseball team is - living there would bite.

what is qol, pay, guarantee days off. Is this a pager operation go when we need you or scheduled a week or two in advance.

I wish it were so bad that no one wanted to live there. I've been trying to get a decent job back there for 3+ years with no luck, so there must be plenty of people there willing to stay.

Either that or I just suck...which is a distinct possibility.

I've heard good things about them, but my only gripe was the pilot sitting on the doorstep of the 50 on the ramp in front of our hangar having a smoke. Got done and just flipped the butt on the ramp. Probably a great guy but not very considerate or wise if you ask me.

St. Louis isn't a bad place to live. If you're based at SUS, there are a lot of great little "burgs" to live in. St. Charles, just north of SUS, is a fantastic place, IMHO.

I bet you live in TX now that place sucks

I spent almost 11 years living in the St. Louis suburbs as a kid and I really dont think it was that bad. I would move back in a heartbeat if I could gain employment with Emersons flight department. There is a lot to do there. If your not a sports fan then there are concerts (used to be the #1 concert town in the nation in the '70's) Forest Park is fantastic so is the St. Louis Zoo, one of the foremost zoo's in the world. Lots of cool outdoorsy type stuff to do within about 1-2 hours drive.

They are hiring. Look at www.stltoday.com Search under the jobs section for "aviation" Found the post there. They are wanting an ATP 5000 total and 3000 multi. Talked to some of thier people and they seem pretty happy. Company is stable and making "more money than we know what to do with" Wish I had that problem.
Tried to copy and post the ad, but it wouldn't do it.

I know one of their pilots left for NetJets awhile back.

It was a QOL decision.

Interesting.

Well, if someone want's Emerson, their mins are not that high, so they should get plenty of apps.

Emerson's opening?

Anyone heard if they started interviews yet? They posted the opening in December....just curious, I have a friend of mine that's wondering.

Thanks in advance!

Last I heard, 3000 applicants for one job. I was surprised to see another posting for the job since December. I have also heard they are getting the 7X.
