On JAX this morning around 0945 eastern a Lear 45 was making an emergency descent. Anybody know the details. The controller said it was a 31 at first, and then said it was a 45. Thanks for the info.
His Dudeness

I don't have any information about the descent, but I did read in Aviation Week that the emergency AD has been lifted and that Bombardier has shipped out new trim screw kits for most of the fleet. Maybe this plane had just come from maintenance and encountered a trim problem. Hope not.

Why don't you put the effort of bumping this thread into just calling the tower over at JAX. Just tell em your curious and don't want to know tail numbers. Or you could try looking up the FBO's at JAX. Ask to talk to the Chief CFI's at each of them till you find out what you feel you need to know.

Hell, everbody knows that the CFI's get all the skinny on their field...especially when the plane taxis into their FBO.
