Was wondering if anyone had any direct experience with Embry Riddle's Distance Learning Program, specifically in their Master's of Aeronautical Science degree. I'm looking into airport ops/management and have heard from those in the field that either a BS or master's in aviation management is necessary to be competitive. It's looking like I'll have PLENTY of time to finish the degree.

Thanks for any info!

P.S. Anyone with airport ops experience, feel free to add your $0.02 worth about this as a career choice.

I just finished the undergrad (BS) program. It is great. I may continue after a break to re-charge the bank account...I don't know anyone in the masters program...

I completed about half of my MAS degree through the Distant Learning program. I thought it was a pretty easy program. You need to be able to lean on your own, with little input from the professors.

I would recommend it.

My experience with the MAS program has been good, I am currently enrolled. If you have an extended campus location near you (which is what I do), I recommend that because you can talk with other aviation and non-aviation students concerning jobs, homework, etc. It also helped me with presentation skills as students are required to present term papers.

I am enrolled in the undergraduate program through distance learning and so far I really enjoy it.
