Here is what I heard!!!
Dear Flightinfo.com,
I heard this from the usher at Cinema Saver 6 in Ft Collins, who heard it from his Turkish Lit professor at CSU.
LUV is wrapping up a deal with NoVa paraglider company in Innsbruck, Austria. NoVa with supply SWA with over 500 motorized paragliders with the capability of dual tandem seating. This will enable LUV to almost guarantee a load factor of %100, while providing door to door service. The first TOWN with service is expected to be Tuba City, AZ. WN HQ expects the paraglider routes to help feed their existing cities, and eventually serve the coast to coast routes. Refreshments will be served by the pilots themselves from an ingenious design by NoVa of adding a battery operated cooler strapped below the pilot.
I think I saw this proposal in an ERAU masters paper around 3 years ago.
