Anyone know roughly what a 170 costs with standard equipment? Also how about range with a 45 min reserve assuming full tanks and half the seats filled(if # of pax are an issue there).

i think about 20 mil per plane. range is about 1200 with ifr reserves. example phl to iah with 72 pax and hobby or austin as alternates, fuel load would be around 18,000 lbs. Burn for the phl to iah leg is in the 11 to 12,ooo lb range with 72 pax.

Better than I deserve..Spent the last week in Senegal and South Africa. We just hired a 170 captain, and i heard rumors of a corporate configured 170 so Im trying to get ahead of the rumor mill. Sounds like a crappy plane for it so far though. Only good thing they are half as expensive as a G550.

Most def. a 190. We just picked up a few G550 at MGM and totally new G compared to G5 G4. Going back to school for 3 weeks.

Yes, the 190 will do transcon's.

If Embraer makes a corporate version it will almost certainly have extra tanks. I doubt there is a market for ultra-large cabin bizjets that can't go cross country.
