Was in S5 HDQ today and waked by the conference room. All the high-ups were sitting around the table with a large pile of EMB manuals in front of them. Also saw a nice EMB-170 model. When I asked about it, they shut the door and said: "It's nothing to be concerned about". Couldn't get anyone in the building to talk. Hmmm...

WHats the diff, CHautauqua, Republic, Shuttle. All the same company. Anywho i doubt anything but its possible.

Matt

Flamier than a gay efiscompmon, in Key West, wearing a Fire Island T-shirt, pride headband and bicycle shorts, doused in Jet A, holding a bic lighter, on the surface of the sun during a super nova.

LMAO!

Thats weird, when I walked by the office earlier they had a Navajo and a C402 model on the desk...hmmm...

Seriously "Chubs".....are you kidding me with that remark. That's just pure flame if I ever saw it. You need to lay off the kind bud.

Total Flame...

Which one of our employees would actually have the nerve to walk into a room with the "Higherups" and say "Whats going on in here?". And why would they tote the manuals in there to begin with? Even I wouldn't believe that.

I put more stock in the fact that Airways is looking for someone to help fly all those nice new shiny planes that they can't finance. Oh, and our new CEO used to be the former head of the USAirways Express division.

RISKY, YES... maybe that is what we need around here to get some jets on the certificate. If we get them, and U goes under, atleast we have a few months under our belts of proving ourselves with the RJ's. We can then go to another major and say, "Got Jets...Will Fly!!!"

I'm not making this S&!t up. Just telling you what I saw.

Picture...I believe the term is "Kine" Bud. It originated in Hawaii. Please get your drug references straight.

Holy s*it, I'd say it don't get much flamier than that.

Imagine all the Cessna 310s we could fit in the hangar...seen plenty of those lately out front. ;)

One of them was just fired rehired and turned around and quit when he got his job back

I highly doubt it. Its funny how the chief pilot knows nothing about it. Plus not to mention, we just bought 5 more of our Saabs.

Buying 5 Saabs is pretty much genious to the survival of the company! Look at the last planes we sent back to Saab... How much money and time did we spend to get those acft back to almost zero time??? By buying our aircraft, we don't have to spend extra money making them look like brand new (20 year old) aircraft. Remember the 300+ BS writeups 104 and 108 had???

Now look at 95...Bought by a gov't contractor, and GONE! One of the best planes we had, but we had a seller and didn't have to bring her back to zero. Got the inspections et al up to date, but fk the Saab biotches who want to milk us for new 20 year old planes. I wouldn't doubt if we bought the rest of our (SA) planes to get away from the Saab numbnuts who can't understand wear and tear...heh.

I s'pose you could look deeper and see that we're buyin all of our Saabs...and making room for big daddy REP's RJs...

BTW Rep...we CAN fit -170s in the FWA hangar. Hell, Kitty Hawk measured us the other day and figured we could fit a 727 in the west bay. :D

Of course we'd have to kick out the last CHQ Junkstream 31 that's cluttering the back corner of our hangar...

Do people still fly J-31s?

I had it on good authority that one of them thar original three turnbacks had far more writeups than even THAT. I think 101 had OVER SEVEN HUNDRED SQUAWKS. My favorite was something along the lines of "the stairs don't come to a stop six inches off the ground when extended".

I guess that every single one of our airplanes is broken, using that gauge!

Of course the new operators of the former AeroGenesis in Lansing managed to damage that airplane and write off a BizEx B-model in a ramp incident literally THE DAY AFTER I flew it up there to put it to bed, but that's another story.

GAC's post was a good one, though, enough to keep the troops buzzing for a few hours ('bud' references notwithstanding).
