eMailing a resume

This is for anyone who screens resumes. When a resume or cover is sent via email, do you prefer to receive it as a template in the email itself or as an attachment in a .pdf or word file? Do attachments get filtered out? Just curious.

Put it in the body of the email itself, as attachments can sometimes bring viruses with them.
