It seems as if you blindly take information as accurate without doing your own due dilligance. Other wise you wouldn't be so concerned about me correcting the info. I would enjoy being a fly on the wall if you got an interview with Mr. Bilson and calling him Mr. Pilson. Need I point out more or do you think it would be better for me to act as the professional I try to be in a very small industry with very short bridges that burn quickly.

Elite,Transexec,etc

Which of these folks utilize contract pilots on a frequent basis? Anyone have any info? Presently doing Part 91 adding a Pt135 Pic/Sic during recurrent this month. Thanks

Touché CaSyn, I do see that there is a David Bilson who is listed as the owner of the company on their website. I don’t blindly take any information, even that which I hear on CNN! I do, however, think that this site is comprised of some that wish to honestly help others in the industry and some that just wish to stir the pot. Are you saying there is no Mr. Pillson (I was told in an earlier post that he is the check airman, not the owner). I understand that SMELLTHEJET is a line tech, not a pilot.

Any other helpful info you can give would be appreciated. This IS part of my due diligence.

Elite, Lacy's, Trans Exec, Air Group, and others all are great and pay average to above average. I don't know about others. Also, they all, to my knowledge use contract personell when necessary. Regarding specifics on any of the above I'm not inclined to make statements I can't support with facts about any of the ones I don't work for and can't talk about the one I do in a open forum due to confidentiality. Anyone would be lucky to work for any of them, once a person breaks in to this corner of the industry it opens many doors and opportunities. I will never go back to the airlines and wish I had started working in this corner of the industry before I waisted 20 years at the airlines. It is the first time in as many years that I have actually enjoyed going to work.

Michael Jackson was flying on XtraJet during the taping incident. Probably because of that publicity, they are now dba JetAbove.

isnt there a new operator out of millionaire? primojet or primejets? i hear they are awesome and pay exceptional??

heard it from a line guy at elite?

What the heck!

Sent my resume into Trans-Exec. Sounds like the owner is a pr$ck, but GIVs and GVs!! I can and have had to deal with a pr$ck or two in my years as a pilot, so if new planes and good pay are the other part of the story, I'll give it a try. If I get an interview, I'll make my on descision (and, of course, tell you all what a find in freaky california).
