Have any of you guys that use electronic log books printed anything out for use during an interview? If so, what did you put them in and what were the comments and results of the interview?

I have seen the Leather Binder and pages on the Logbook Pro site, but that thing is a little pricey, especially if I use the special pages for them.

Thanks

What ever you do bring it however presentable it can be brought. As a former interviewer for SWA it killed us when we couldn't easily find information. This one EMB-120 guy had a beautiful print out. But nothing was totaled! It took half an hour just to find his pic turbine time to make sure he met the minimums.

Do a good job with presenting your qualifications and experience. Everything you show and present reflects on who you might be to an interviewer.

Good luck!

I've got my old, messy(not advisable) Navy logbooks and I backed that up by putting all of that info in an Excel spreadsheet. For each interview I went to, I made up a cover page that totalled information according to the way that particular company seemed to have priorities for hours. I would pull out and offer up both, stating that I made my spreadsheet printout because I thought it was easier to read. I put it in the cheapest white binder I could find at Walmart, but it was nice and neat. In all cases, my handwritten logbook got a quick looking over and they spent more time looking at the Excel printout binder. No comments on the logbook, but I'm 5 for 5 in interviews in the past couple of years.
