I just saw that we signed an agreement with Jeppesen to equip. all of our aircraft with electronic flight bags level 2 and 3. It was on ATWonline in the daily news column. Anyone know anything about that? And what the hell is the diff. between level 2 and 3?

The last two 777's have them. I think the 756 fleet will get them by next year.

We were told the 787 will come with them, the 756 fleet will be first to retro-fit but with the 767s getting them first. Then the 777's. Once they are through with the 756 and 777 fleet (18 months was what they told us) they will start on the 737 fleet starting with NGs first.

36 months away on the complete retrofit of the entire fleet.

At least that's what they told us.

There are a total of three 777's with EFB's now, one just came out of a heavy check in HKG. When the airplane goes in for the check it will get the FA bunks, new video system, and the EFB. The moving map for taxiing is outstanding.
