Emirates has revised its upgrade requirements:
6,000 hours Total Time
2,500 hours Emirates operating time and 3 years’ service in
Emirates, on any fleet
1,000 hours Emirates operating time on the fleet on which the
upgrade is planned
So far we are steering clear of DEC's. EK has the right idea of looking within its pilot group for upgrades if they want to avoid a mass exodus of FO's. I hope the trend continues as more upgrades are needed.
