I would certainly hope so. DayJets is accepting applications through their web site. If the pilot positions do not appear, change the date of your search to an earlier year and search again - strange software.

You can apply and then wait. Be sure to fill out the questionaires.

FYI, I have no inside info but also have an interest in working for them.

Jetblue specifies time in heavier aircraft, and I think I CAL used to also.

I believe Jet Blue mins. are 1000 PIC turbine in anything greater then 20,000 mtow, while I think FedEx is just 1000 PIC turbine, which I guess could be a Caravan, but there is no way that is competetive, that's just for the CEO's son, lol.

I was lucky enough to see it on the ramp in HPN yesterday. Dang that thing is tiny! Looked smaller than a cherokee 6 with a couple of prats on the tail. I'm sure it would be fun to fly, just not on the long legs. The side stick did look AWESOME, very ergonomic design. Not much legroom for the pax, however. Hard to believe those things are projected to be blackening the skies in the future.

I think you could carry more in a PA-32 "six" as well. We will see them start to replace the baron's and dukes but I doubt the masses will happen.

Given how many people think the RJ is a really small airplane, I seriously doubt Joe Public is going to want to fly on an Eclipse. The rich doctors and lawyers will buy them to replace their Bonanzas and Mooneys, I'm still not convinced that DayJet can make it work (or maybe they'll surprise me, who knows). But I don't think this is going to completely revolutionize the aviation industry.
