How's the drive from Reading, Pottstown, Lancaster, Delaware County, etc into EWR, LGA and JFK? Time, traffic, tolls, etc. Thanks.

I'm in Bucks County and drive to PHL (via River Rd/rt.32 and I95) but have several friends that do EWR, LGA and JFK from the same area. EWR is the easiest followed by LGA then JFK (IMHO). I've been told that the best way to LGA is the Holland Tunnel to Canal Street to expressway to LGA. This avoids the Varrizanno (sp??) bridge and the traffic on the expressway between the bridge and lower manhattan/brooklyn side. For JFK you basically are stuck with the Varrizanno and the other highway that goes south from the bridge.

From where you listed i'd get to 78 to 22 or 287 to get across NJ. I use 202 to either 287 or 22 depending on which airport.

A friend that is based in LGA and lives 3 mile from me says 1.5 to 2 hours no traffic and 3 if there is traffic.
