I don't have the official article to post but, yesterday in CLT a US Airways A330 atempting an intersection T/O 18C clipped the tail of a (west) A321 who was waiting in line for t/o also on 18C. The A321 was parked but I'm sure that it was his fault somehow. If anyone has more info please let us know.

No West started taking deliveries last year...

Yup, rode on one a few weeks ago on a transcon. Shiny and new, comfortable, with internet and everything. Then I connected to one of Piedmont's ratty old 737-400's, with likely a few of their original flight attendants, too...

"From someone who was there...an A330 tried to pull off an intersection TO at CLT on 18C and clipped the West 321 that was parked in line waiting for TO. The 321 was number 3 behind us. We were number 1 holding short of 18C waiting for burn data on a reroute (wx in CLT and cutting off our departure corridor) when we heard this happen. The west A321 was stationary with the parking break set. The rudder repair for the 321 will result in it being out of service until July.

Thank goodness no one was hurt. Oh and with that 321 out of service, there goes a loss in block hours for the west."

are the east pilots taking it to court to say there was no incident?
