I am currently flying the erj for Eagle and stuck in the middle of the reserve list without much progression towards holding a line. I have been thinking about applying to CHQ because the pastures seem greener over there. Are they? Anyone from CHQ have anything negative to say or reasons not to go there? Anyone have a reason I should stay with Eagle? Just trying to lay out all the pros and cons. How long is the reserve wait until holding a line on avg for CHQ? How long would it take to get a florida base (MCO/FLL) in the erj after training? Do the CHQ captains ever move on to other jobs or are most staying put? Thanks!

Right now things are really screwed up at CHQ with the whole RP SA and CHQ flying. Nobody knows what is going on. If you apply at CHQ you may go to SA or RP or CHQ. Who knows??? Holding a line, depending on base, may take only a few months. Good luck with MCO, everyone wants to go there. FLL may be a better option. It also seems people are moving on. Fedex, UPS, SWA, seem to take their share. Can't say anything about Eagle. Been happy here at CHQ so far. Base your decision on QOL and bases. Don't base it on upgrade. It is fast here at CHQ, but that can always change.

Good luck!

are all the subsidiaries on 1 seniority list?

RP and CHQ are one list. If the deal goes through, SA will be merged into the CHQ list. Per the CHQ contract ANY flying done under RAH will be done by pilots from the CHQ list. The SA thing is not a done deal yet.
