Eagle is sending recall letters to all furloughed pilots by the end of October. If there are any Eagle pilots who don't get one, make sure your contact info is up to date.
As far as being kicked to SJU as other FOs bid out, it doesn't work that way. FOs can only bid vacancies unless the company announces a displacement. So if a SJU FO bids a ERJ opening it is because there is an open seat.
Regarding AA flowbacks, they are coming, sort of like the plague. Eagle cannot furlough pilots due to flowbacks by contract. There basically are no upgrades until AA stops furloughing and those guys stop coming back.
Lastly, instructors are going back to the schoolhouse for all aircraft with rumors of hiring off the street in the first quarter. We're currently understaffed. Example, captains in SJU flew as a FOs 180 times in June. CAs in DFW are also flying as FOs. We are getting over 40 RJs next year and will need pilots.
