has anyone heard of this operation headquartered in Las Vegas? Apperently they operate emb 120's and are opening a mx base in TXK.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Eagle Jet Charters is part of the Scenic Airline Group, or Scenic is part of Eagle Jet. They used to operate F-27's on Grand Canyon runs and charters all over the US. The Scenic certificate operates Twin Otters on Canyon runs and they had an EAS run to Ely, NV. I think they also have a C model 1900 on one certificate or the other. HQ is at the North Las Vegas airport. From a dispatcher's point of view its one of the few dispatch offices set up to look out over the flight line.

Eagle Jet Charter is no longer part of Scenic Airlines.

The F-27's, still flying are located at Pt. Mugu, NAS in California. Only a few of the former EJC pilots are still employed by Scenic.

Many of the pilots, were furloughed, or went with the new company who purchased the EJC certificate.

It is my understanding, the pilots that left for the new company will be flying freight using EMB120's, somewhere in the Texas region.

I do not know the name of the company or it's owners.

Hope this helps some of your out there.

Hello to my former workmates out there reading this?
