Anyone know what happened to the American Eagle flight that had to make an emergency landing yesterday at the Grand Rapids airport? The plane was still sitting there today as I flew over it.

Hmm, not sure man. I'll be back there in a couple days and ask around. Who knows where it was coming from, DFW, LGA, ORD all hitting good old home up these days.

It was a SWF-ORD flight.

Diverted after the oil quantity began dropping a lot in one engine. The leak was repaired and it flew on to ORD today.

Kudos to whoever noticed the slow leak. Hopefully before the EICAS did.

Yeah, hopefully they had the Takeoff page displayed on their MFDs while in flight, instead of something insignificant like the Fuel page!
