Q for Coex drivers.

Hey guys...they'll be hiring sometime in spring..but this is all dependant upon who takes the recalls. That's something we won't know until the time has passed. THis is from THE source. My question...do COEX pilot's have to get their medical through continental mainline like eagle drivers have to get through american? If someone could explain how this works i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks ya'll.

no, coex pilots get their medical from an ame......... doesn't have to be any "company" doctors.

To answer you about Eagle. New hires expected early second quarter next year. Interviews most likely Feb-Mar some time. Taining department expecting 56% increase in longterm training next year. AA to stop flowing back in march with about 100 at Eagle. 4 jets a month for the next 2 years about min 20 newhires a month just for hte 4 jets and mostlikley about 5-15 a month due to atrition.

I gotta agree, take Jim's e-mail down. Its pretty inconsiderate to put his e-mail up without his permission.

I have been working at XJT since 1999 as an agent and I am also a struggling CFII...any suggestions?
As for you sir, try to stay in the loop of pilot hiring from the inside. You have a very good shot at getting in because you already work for XJet. Try to get to know some of the pilots, they may write you letters of recommendation. Talk to you're supervisor and see if he can help you move into a pilots position and if that doesnt work, then YOU (nobody else!) should email Jim Nides. Its okay for you to do it because you already work here. But try you're supervisor first. Good luck!

Everyone else, dont e-mail Jim Nides, just wait until the proper channels open up. I'm sure XJet will be doing a lot of hiring and they are on a big technology kick lately so I wouldnt doubt the online application thing. E-mailing Jim is obnoxious and it might hurt you to do so.
