Follow G4G5's lead and go for the Hyatt @ Beaver Creek. Been a couple years since I stayed there but it is a nice place. Be prepared to drop in excess of $300/nt for that week.

Many little shops, Starbucks, movie theater, etc. within walking distance. The Holiday Inn does have the points, but the walls are thin and it's more like a Super 8 than the nice new Holiday Inn Express units you see out there.
While there hit Pazzo's Italian restaurant at the freeway entrance by the Holiday Inn. Some of the best pizza I've ever had.
