Optional braking systems...great way to save a few bucks. Got bumped off a TSA E145 that had no thrust reversers once because they couldn't meet the landing requirements at the alternate.

The Captain was trying to remember if towing banners will continue to pay his bills or is he going to have to start up his HO operation again.....:laugh:

All of our landing data is calculated w/out T/R on the E145. So they can MEL it and it will not change anything. Not legal without T/R and not legal with them. Maybe they did not want to take you because you were making fun of their airplane.

Ya gotta feel bad for the poor FO, he won't be able to afford "rent" so he's looking at moving out of his parents' basement, and having to share a room with his little brother again.

The FOs on those things usually don't have enough total time to get signed off by the banner tow company's insurance carriers.
