I heard that Republic has 12 A320s on property. The buzz is they are going to fly them for Skywest. Any truth to this? And will they hire into it?

This kind of statement is why the regioanl have such crappy pay..You guys are so hardup to fly BIG airplane that you will do it for anything(SKYBUS). Do you actually think skywest is going to pay anything for a 320. Yet you guys will be lining up to do it...
 
EMB 170/175/190 are technically E-Jets. Its like calling the I-Phone the E-Phone, or ipod the epod.

One can argue the E-Jet is a marketing distinction - one that Embraer is happy to make between its northern rival bombardier that makes cramped passenger airplanes.
