And thats from the guy who just voted himself a two year pay freeze.

You forgot two things.
If you stay in the right seat you'll never make more than $34 bucks/hr.
If you get one of those instant upgrades to PIC and begin to call yourself "captain", you'll make all of $58 bucks/hr.

Tell us how good that is and how nice you feel working in the red light district.

Riiight surplus. Granting that our FO rates suck, would one of us be more "qualified" to be Captain if we made the extra 3-5 bucks an hour from your almighty payscale? BTW I make more than 58 bucks as a 145 captain; I'm not a huge defender of our rates but you could at least get your facts straight before the mindless bashing.

Has anyone at CHQ heard if there will be a FLL or MCO base in the future for the Republic E170's at all? Just curious since I'll be living in Orlando and having to commute to CMH.

so, if you get hired at CHQ, can they assign you to fly Republic aircraft? Or do you have to get hired by Republic?

CHQ is doing the hiring for all 3 RAH airlines: CHQ(ERJ145), Shuttle America(EMB170), and Republic Airlines(EMB170).
You will be placed in a class based on the needs of RAH and the quals of the applicant. The EMB170 slots require a little more experience, but not much more. See the mins at Rjet.com.

Don't get too cocky, son. It is a long fall from the top.

Well then I wont have that much to fall being a newhire

Being a newhire and to walk into that (I got lucky I know)

Hey, is Rep strictly Delta????? Cause I've heard it may be a mix of United/Delta

Some of United will go on Shuttle and some on Rep. Anyone else hear that?
